The task of maintenance and preservation of the East End Lighthouses
of Southold Town, Suffolk County, New York is a demanding task.

If you would like to help please send your tax deductible donation to:

East End Lighthouses
PO Box 21
Greenport, NY 11944

or click here to donate online.

Very reluctantly, because of the increased costs of insurance, food, and fuel, we have had to increase our prices for 2008.
In all cases we have kept the increases to a minimum.

June 9
Annual Offshore Lighthouse Cruise
Departure time 0900

Cruise of Long Island's East End lighthouses to raise funds for the preservation and restoration of the offshore lighthouses of Southold Town. We will depart from Greenport's Tall Ship Dock and will visit twelve (12) lighthouse sites. The cruise includes continental breakfast, catered lunch, beverages featuring Pellegrini Wines, historical narration, takeout gifts by Gifts by Lindin, raffles, and special discount coupons from village merchants and restaurants. Lighthouses to be seen include Long Beach Bar, Orient Point, Plum Island, Little Gull, Race Rock, New London Ledge, North Dumpling, Latimer Reef, Stonington, Watch Hill, Gardiner's Point (location of former lighthouse and fort), and Cedar Island.

The cruise will be on the all-passenger high-speed Catamaran "Jessica W," the "queen" of the Cross Sound fleet. "The Jessica W" is a 49-meter (approx. 160 ft.) wave-piercing catamaran, owned and operated by Block Island Ferry Services LLC (BIFS). The "Jessica W" has a cruising speed of more than 35 knots (40 mph), making it the fastest ferry serving Block Island and the mainland. The vessel is equipped with comfortable, modern airline-style seating on two enclosed air-conditioned passenger decks, and a state-of-the-art motion-control system for smooth travel in all sea conditions. Click here for complete specifications and a detailed description of the "Jessica W."

Tickets are $100.00 per person for members and $110.00 for nonmembers, 300 total tickets available. Early reservations are suggested as this cruise is always sold out weeks in advance.
